I'm new at multicam editing. But I've been watching tutorials and reading the manuals. Got my two camera feeds in sync on my source sequence, no problem. Got my multicam editing sequence made. Drag my source sequence onto my multicam editing sequence. Enable multicam for the multicam sequence. So far so good. But when I run the multicam editing sequence, I've got no sound. When I run the multicam monitor, I've got no sound from either camera, but video from both.
For the record, I've got sound from both audio tracks 1 and 2 when I play the source sequence. I can turn them on and off at will and it works just like you'd think it would. But.... the "good" sound is on my B-cam (it had better access to the sound feed). So I want to turn off the Audio 1 track and record only the Audio 2 track during multicam editing.
And therein lies the problem. If I turn on Audio 1, I can hear that when I play the multicam editing sequence (either directly or using the multi-camera monitor). But if I turn on Audio 2 only, I get just silence when I play the multicam editing sequence.
So... How can I get the sound from Audio 2 on my source sequence to make it to my multicam edit sequence? Or is there some rule that says it's Audio 1 or nothing?
