MTS files will not play - corrupt

Help, some of my clips will not play.

Shot one 16GB card today. 17 clips. Clips 0000-0006 play and convert. Clips 0007-00017 will not open. In camera playback results in "?" marks on all clips except for the first clip, which plays ok in camera. The MTS file size appear to correspond to the duration of each take.

Card is a Transend 16gb class 10.

Any advise on how to play or recover the MTS clips? I've tried opening in FCP, Clip Wrap, VLC player and Avid.

Somewhere in the menu is a selection to REPAIR FILE STRUCTURE, or something like that, worth a try. FMU installed? Files also corrupt on that?

Also they warn not to manipulate files on the camera from your computer.
 
Before anything else, I would use Disk Utility to make a backup software disk image (dmg) of the card. Then start trying out some recovery tools.
