MTF Nikon to Sony (two different types?)

Hey guys, sorry if this has been addressed before.

I have a Sony F3 on the way. Before I buy a Nikon adapter...I was wondering if there was a difference between these two MTF mounts? At first I thought one had aperture control & the other didn't, but they both list aperture control in the specs:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/765130-REG/MTF_Services_Ltd_MTNIKGF3_Nikon_G_to_Sony.html

The B&H version looks like their would be more distance between the lens & sensor, so I'm wondering if that would affect the crop size.

This photo on Philip Bloom's site appears to have the "shorter" adapter seen on Abel Cine: http://philipbloom.net/2010/12/22/worlds-first-sony-f3-nikon-lens-adaptor/

Does anybody know anything about this?

Thanks!

Same adapter, different angle to the photo is all.
If you're interested, I have the exact same adapter in perfect condition and I can assure that the backfocus distance is correct as I've tested it for sale for $400.

I upgraded to the Prolock adapter for $1000 and just haven't bothered to sell yet.
