[WTB] MS Office 97 Professional

David W. Richardson

Chapelgrove Films
I used to create stand-alone databases all the time using MS Access.

Now my church needs me to create one, but I no longer have any version of MS Office. I foolishly thought I would be able to create a stand-alone database using the Access clone in OpenOffice, but no such luck. I can create the database just fine, but there's no way to make it a stand-alone application. Apache's reasoning seems to be that since OpenOffice is free, there is no need to be able to make stand-alone databases -- people should just install OpenOffice on any computer that needs to use the database. But I want to simplify things for the church secretary who has to use it, so a stand-alone database is the way I'd rather go.

I'm poor, so be kind. If anyone has an old copy of MS Office 97 Professional -- or later, as long as it has Access -- they can part with for a reasonable price, please message me.

Thanks!
