There is a difference between Sci-Fi cinema and sadistic masochism., My film is Sci-Fi, I dont promote mutilation of women or abuse of women or even people in general. It donesnt have anythign to do with "Artistic Expression" DUMBASS. It's about people making films about raping and killing women and thinking it's "a Movie" when it's some sick ****s twidted idea of what he would like to do in real life and hides behind the title of "director" which obviously based on your comments to me is exactly what YOU do and apparently are into. See. This is exactly what I am talking about. Mr. Filmcraft is the all seeing eye on who is the autuer and who is not. He has been sent by the filmgods to educate us on who is worthy (apparently he is) as an artist and whose work is golden.

And yes; Scott, you have me pegged. Something I have kept hidden from dvxuser.com for 3 years; I love violence against women. It turns me on. No seriously; I enjoy violence in films equally to all; especially assholes.

That's a pretty cool list of films in my opinion. Now without knowing the context of this threads subject matter; I cant make any informed decision's in this regards.

You need to get a grip. For someone studying to become a headmonkey I suggest you calm down and be a little more prudent in your approach to criticism of others and what the hell you call yourself a Buddhist? Aren't Buddhist a little more tempermental than you?

It's a film. Film's depict life; unfortunately this is a part of this miserable world. Who are we to decide which filmmakers are worthy? Surely not you and surely not on this site.

I respect your opinion and others, but posting grabs like this on a site that has a large number of adolescent members is just irresponsible. When I said "I agree" I was referring to the content of the grabs. No one benefits by seeing this kind of smut "GARBAGE". I think a woman’s nude body is a beautiful thing, and can easily be portrayed that way without the brutality that is portrayed here.

From what I can see, there is no nudity. There is no violence. It's all setup and perception.
The only person who really knows what's going on in that scene is Aaron.

Judging an entire piece just by a few frame grabs only shows that you may be a little shallow in your thinking.

The thread posted stated ADULT CONTENT. NOw it's obvious you and filmboy are upset over the content. Why did you come into the thread? If it says Adult Content you have to know it contains something along these lines? It's like the sign that says 'Under no circumstances open this door' and when you do you get upset at what you find. What I have a problem with is someone letting their personal feelings and morals conflict with someone elses film or spill out into the forum. For filmboy to come in here and make that singulary offensive comment about one of our user/members and about something as negligible as a film and a FILM GRAB no less is intolerable and will not happen in here. And for you to jump on his wagon and say I AGREE was uneccasary and caters to a MOB mentality.

I think my comments come from seeing too many film festivals where the director is just after the shock value in a piece. I would love to see the finished product so I can be proven wrong.

First off I am not filmboy, and some of what he said was rude and out of place. I had hoped I'd explained in enough detail what I meant by "I agree". I have no problem with the nudity/ADULT CONTENT. I think it has its place in film just as much as anything else. It is possible my personal morals or feelings have come to the surface in my posts, but I wait to be corrected by the final product. It's my opinion that more often then not a piece that could have been excellent is ruined by excessive foul language/nudity/violence. I say this from a film maker’s viewpoint not from a soap box.
