MPIC 35mm adapter (BNCR mount) for sale!
Hi!
I am selling one of the famous MPIC 35mm adapters built by Mr. Dan Diaconu. It was custom-built for BNCR lenses, but, with adapters, it can easily take cine lenses featuring other mounts (arri standard, arri bayonet etc). It can possibly take still lenses although I have never tried that, but again you'd have to use adapters (Nikon to BNCR etc). This adapter is unique.
It is very rugged and exceptionally built. It was actually built around a BNCR mount for the P+S Technik 35mm adapter. Based on his own tests Mr. Diaconu said the MPIC is better than the P+S adapter as far as image quality is concerned. Because of its Beattie screen, it is definitely faster, losing almost no light at all, compared to 1-2 stops of light loss by almost all other adapters.
The adapter also has strong rod support made for the industry standard 15mm rod system. It features its own patented, vibrating movement system (adjustable).
I am also adding a HD Achromat from Redrock, and several 72mm filter rings to properly distance the MPIC from your camera.
If you're interested, please e-mail me and I can show you more images of the adapter itself, images from footage produced with it and many other details. I was extremely happy with the adapter and the footage has been astonishing. Those who know 35mm adapters know what MPIC means.
Thanks!
