MPEG streamclip formats question

Hi, I have recently bought a mac to edit my 7d footage (video), I have downloaded mpeg streamclip, but when i tried to convert/compress my video files to apple dvc pro hd, the format wasn´t there, neither was prores there.
what do I have to do to get the formats avelable?

For DVCProHD, you need to install FCP.

As to pro res, what Mac do you have with what operating system version?

In your hard drive/Library/QuickTime folder, what codecs are there?
 
I have installed fpc and the operativesystem is OSX 10,6 snow leopard.

In my quicktime folder there is AppleIntermediate Codec.component , AppleMPEG2 codec.component and DC30Xact.component.

I am pretty frustrated over this:/
