I downloaded an mp3 from free play music and whenever i play it in fcp7, it has this metronome sound that wasn't there before.
anyone know how to get rid of it?

Final Cut has to render MP3 files, and that tone indicates audio that has not been rendered. In order to use it in editing, you should first convert it to 16-bit/48kHz AIFF.
