MovieReShape ... can this be real?

Apparently it can alter body types / builds / etc. This would be a GREAT answer for all of those shoots that women say, "Can you make me look thinner?" I always have a snarky comment in my head, but with this ... I actually could.

I'm assuming a lot of other modifications have to be done for it to work perfectly though. The Baywatch clip, for example, looked like it had trouble determining how much muscle mass to put on him. It would slightly change as he runs.

Divas are really going to love this - filmmakers are going to hate it. "I want to watch the dailies after every shoot and I'll tell you which clips you'll need to make me look thinner."

Think how scary-skinny actresses are going to look in films now - Bye-bye realistic body images for yet another generation of girls...:Drogar-Mad(DBG)::thumbdown

I can't remember what it was called, but the technology used on Benjamin Button has been used for the past few years to enhance the appearance of some major actors in high-budget films. The software is apparently a secret with a name like "Linda." The demo video showed a guy getting his flabby stomach turned into a six pack. I guess the software itself isn't a big secret, but the studio that does it has to be completely secret about which movies it has been used on, to protect the image of the actors who get the touchups.

I feel like I saw this on the Science Channel.

That's creepy. I thought it was only Benjamin Button. I also know they're using the same thing for Tron. Though you can tell things are a bit off when you look at the face.
