I like listening to film soundtracks while I work.... and I'm always on the lookout for more.
Any suggestions?

Ideally embed a sample if you can find one.

One of my personal favorites - the main theme from 'The Conversation'

One of Ennio Morricone's (and Sergio Leone's) greatest moments. Also the opening to every Metallica concert. I love jogging to this one--

A favorite track from Conan:The Barbarian, an okay movie elevated by one of the greatest film scores of all time--

Man, I could go on and on. I love older films scores. They really seemed to drive the movie in a way they don't anymore. They are treated more like sonic wallpaper these days. Also, with films paced quicker, with shorter scenes, it doesn't allow composers time to build to any meaningful crescendo. Contrast John Williams work in the first Star Wars trilogy, where he often built to operatic heights, to his work on the prequels, full of short, hurried moments. Only the Duel of the Fates in pt. 1 and the final Anakin/Obi-Wan duels in Pt. 3 approached his previous work.

Lalo Schifrin. Enter the Dragon--

Also think District 9's soundtrack is amazing.

I always like almost famous, dazed and confused, most Wes Anderson movies, my favorite beat is the Beverly hills cop theme (grew up with it) true romance, reservoir dogs, but possibly my favorite soundtrack moment in a movie is the Samuel Jackson and Chris tucker scene in Jackie brown when he gets in the trunk.

I just re-watched "Cool Hand Luke" and Lalo Schifrin did a great job with that sound track also.

He's easily my favorite of all time. It's not even close. There's HIM then there's everybody else jockeying for second.

Ennio at the beginning of his "whistling" phase. Awesome, awesome stuff.

About 40 years ago or so my parents used to take me camping during the summer months.
One summer I brought along my first personal record player and a LP soundtrack of 'Doctor Zhivago".

I played it so much my mom yelled at me to turn it off, which I did.

But, hehe, I just dug out the album and am holding it in my hands right now, still wrapped in plastic. Sale price sticker on the front says "Buy one for $1.99, THE SECOND FOR ONLY 1 Cent" . ;)

Let me type a bit of what's on the back cover...

Sound Track Music From
The MGM release of the Carlo Ponti Production
David Lean's Film
of Boris Pasternak's Doctor Zhivago.

Doctor Zhivago Scores Composed by Maurice Jarre.

I just pulled out the record and looked at the blue label. Wow. What a flood of memories that just gave me.

//Edit:

Annnnd thanks to youtube, here you go...
