Movie Reviews shot on HVX200

Hey,

I've been shooting a movie review series with some friends. We've used the HVX200 to shoot several of these reviews. We've just shot with the standard HVX200 720/24P.

Since starting we have produced a handful of these videos, we are looking for some feedback on the video quality and overall appeal of the videos. We'd be very grateful if anyone would take the time to watch some of the videos and offer up some feedback.

Please check out the "Despicable Me" review for an example, or the "Predators" review. Again I'd just like to say we'd really appreciate any feedback we could get on how to make these videos the best they can.

are you using the on camera mic ? overall it's good but sounds a little reverbish....
 
They look good man. With The Despicable Me one, there's almost too many cuts, it's a little distracting for such a short video of just one guy reviewing a movie.

Otherwise enjoyed them, keep it up.
 
@ Kyleb - No on board mic we used the Rode NTG-3 mic but are shooting in a room with cement floors so we do have a little issue with reverb and on some of the wide shots we had to back off the mic so it's not as clear.

@ CaptainWhacky - Yeah we were trying something new with Despicable Me and wanted to really emphasize the "Quick" aspect of the review. But I have heard a few people say it felt a little too jumpy.
