Somebody has to have 6k posts for anything they say to be legit around here?
...
Malcom, I am just making an offer for you. I work at a radio station and cut commercials for a living. You also have gotten plenty of replies from folks who are willing to do a spot for you as well. Sounds like you are good to go. Just let folks send you something and pick the one you like. Trying to prove something to the 6k posters on the board is not in my desire. Being happy to take 5 minutes of my time to help someone (and return the favor of what this board is supposed to be about) in an area that I may actually be able to provide some help, is my pleasure. Like I said, if you want to pm a script, or even (when you're ready) post the trailer) I'd be happy to email you a few cuts. If you like them, you are more than welcome to use them or not.

Hey guys, thanks alot for the offers!
I haven't gotten into contact with my friend yet, but heres the short in question:
http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=68468
Its basically how the cops and a gang of triads battle each other in a warehouse whilst a bomb is discovered - the storyline follows how the bomb got there and why (cliche huh?)
blckhawk and ramjet: I'd love to hear more from you guys! Maybe if you two could try posting something up based on the synopsis and the rough trailer in the link in the meantime?
Once again I really appreciate everyone here!

Back to VO land -- another big trailer guy is Hal Douglas, voice of The WB. If you've never seen his trailer for "Comedian," go to http://www.celsiusfilms.com/ and look under director Christian Charles. It's the first video clip you'll see.
I may actually have used Hal a few years ago for a radio spot (here: http://www.jasonfox.net/radio/mp3s/TheRoadtoQuikTrip.mp3), but I'll have to check the production notes if I can find them after all these years. It doesn't quite sound like him. Whoever it was, he's a well-recognized Vo guy and he did it for scale. Don LaFontaine is 10 grand minimum.
I'll also volunteer myself, too. Soon as my new version of DP arrives next week, that is. Tiger broke my old version.
