Movie Guy Voiceover

Hi guys, I tried a search with the terms 'Professional voiceover' and 'Movie trailer voiceover' but i came up with zilch on both counts. Does anyone know anyone or does anyone here do that cool 'movie trailer' voiceover thing for an affordable rate? Say a 1 minute clip for non-broadcast work?

I was hoping to maybe get one for a short film I'm working on, and also in that way promote an interest group in my school for other 16 year olds interested in film. Needless to say our own attempts at doing a voiceover were pretty bad..

Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks :D

my friends all say I've got a pretty good movie trailer voice - like the deep "in a world" kinda stuff. I would do it for fun/free.

Hey Tjohara, thats good to know - I'll be sure to look you up in about a months time when we'll be doing the groundwork for the trailer.

Silverwolf: Don la and Hal Douglas are way too expensive..

Good luck with your project!

Hey man, I am a dj at a radio station. I will do it for free if you want, if its nothing to big. Just pm me and let me know the details.

Thank you very much for your generosity Ramjet! I'll get back to you and tjohara in a couple of days to a week once I tell my friend about it and we'll try to pull together a script (He's doing the editing but he's just moved to America last week, so he's out of contact for awhile). But rest assured I really appreciate you guys!

FWIW, this guy has a GREAT voice for that kind of stuff:

He's a friend of mine and may be able to help you out.

I could do it for free. I had to do that deep voice for a class in film camp for our class intro which was a spoof movie trailer for Speed III.

Everyone came up to us in class asking how we got the movie guy's voice..and my class mates just pointed to me and people were kinda shocked because it sounds really close to the guy's voice. So if you need help...PM me if you have a few lines..ill record them in the voice and lemme know what you think.

"What's that clunk?" was a common question.

If you can make that sound awesome, then my hat goes off to ya.

Heh, I've run into so many people who think they can do the movie guy voice. Maybe two of them even got anywhere in the ballpark. My opinion: if you can't nail it you're better off trying a totally different direction, than calling attention to your failure.
