Finally! I got my hands on one with a kit lens 18-105. Better lenses following soon.
The first field tests, made during a student expedition, show that I can use the D90 for my purposes. Beware of the sometimes forgotten AE-L button and stuff like that, I have to get used to the camera.

I used Magic Bullet Looks for the color correction. That's all, except for the poor time lapse effect in the middle. I just wanted to see how the quality is holding up after my sometimes brutal attempt at filtering.
