Movie dialogue that should be retired.

Heard a few of these lines recently and they need to be put to death.

1) "We're not in Kansas anymore." This one was already decomposing when James Cameron dug it back up.

2) "Say hello to my little friend." Not funny anymore, not even as parody.

3) "Talk to the hand." Terminate this please.

4) "Oh no, you didn't"...and you'd better not.

5) "I am your father..." Usually accompanied by a lame Darth Vader impression.

6) "You talkin' to me?"...double penalty if said while looking into a mirror (I'm looking at you Kick-Ass).

Say hello to my little friend is the big winner...followed closely by You talkin to me.

How about the not-so-classic
Let's get outta here (guilty, I've used it)

How about, "After I stick this red hot poker up my *** I'm going to chop my **** off!"?

That one never gets old!...I wonder what line of dialogue has been said the most. If we include pornos, I'm betting "Oh, god" would probably win.

"you just don't get it do you"

unnecessary filler probably all of the time, can't recall an instance where that couldn't be cut and instead just begin with whatever explanation of why they don't get it or protestation about the fact they don't get it.

generic, can go in any argument, but never heard it in real life if I can recall and serves no purpose but to state the obvious when two people are arguing.

Might work if someone is savoring how out of touch the other person is or something. But prob. not. Definitely shouldn't just be tacked on to the beginning of a line for no reason.

"Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain."
"These are not the droids you're looking for."

"Are you sitting down?"

"Is that all you got?" >> "I’m just getting started."

"Are you thinking what I’m thinking?"

"Don’t you die on me!"

I have to confess. With the exception of "Don't you die on me" and a few others maybe, many of these are guilty pleasures.

Especially "we've got company".

And I just realized I used "Are you thinking what I'n thinking" in ODD Squad.

"Are you thinking what I'm thinking kid?"
"It's just too easy Joe."

EDIT: No the lines are actually -"Yeah, but what's wrong with this picture kid?" "It's just too easy Joe."

But it was supposed to be a campy 70's throw back. Anyway I think some of them are fun.

"We've got company" would be hard to resist if I wrote a space ship battle, for example.
