GH3 mov 7mp4 huge differrence??

hello i have tried some test as i suspect mp4 recording ha ssome problem
it strated when i notice that reconrdin in mp4 give me a weird remaining time (start from 20,23..) while mov it is correct 29,59

Now i notice that the quality it is really different
The mov muvh more definit and sharp, vivid, while mp4 going to a "dead" look..
I don't know if it is normal or it is a problem of my camera

sorry..was the monitor difference...b
but the remaining time issue still there

what you suggest for video editing mov or mp4?
