Mousewheel Support: Hardware Survey

The new mousewheel feature looks very interesting.
However it requires a 2+N-button mouse... so I'm looking to upgrade to... well, something and wanted to ask....

- What do you use to point with in Avid? Mouse, trackball, mind control, other?

- Do you like it? Why? or why not? (Any notes on ergonomics after many hours of use are appreciated).

- Have you tried the new "mousewheel support" feature with your device?

Logitec MX500 mouse. Love it. The design is top notch, and the forward and back internet browsing buttons are fantastic. You can map various Avid functions to as many buttons as the mouse has. It's also the most comfortable mouse I've ever used.

I have tried the mousewheel support with Avid, and whereas it's nice it hasn't changed my workflow. I mostly stick to the keyboard with Avid. Being able to use the scrollwheel in the bins and timeline is great, but as far as mouse button mapping, I just don't need it.
