Mounting PL lens on HPX500

You can't. Won't work.

You'd have to use a 35mm DOF adapter, such as the Letus Ultimate or the P&S Technik Pro35.

Or use the DigiPrimes, which are B4-mount lenses.

I have a beautiful set of Ziess Super speeds that I used on my BL 4. I sold that camera a couple of years ago. Is there any one that will convert these to digiprimes.

Paul,

Converting Super Speed to Digiprimes? Not possible.

We do have a mint set of Digiprimes for sale as well as a few P+S PRO35s. Send me an email and I can put together a quote for you.

Thanks, Scott sschneider@fvesco.com

Scott..... Send me that info. You have my number and email.

I saw the FVESCO eBay listings for the Digiprimes and Fujinon primes, $98K and $55K, respectively. I don't think a large investment in 2/3" lenses is wise in this age of large sensor cameras. 35mm PL-mount lenses would seem to be the better long term approach. I also don't think an HPX500 would do justice to these lenses.

The best approach for an HPX500 would be a 35mm DOF adapter like P+S Pro 35 or Letus Ultimate with B4 relay lens and your Zeiss Super Speeds, IMO.

Our Letus Ultimate and B4 Pro relay lens has been used with good success on HPX500's. The HPX500 was the camera that Letus tested with for their Compact and Pro relays. You would be under $10K for this combination.
