Hi
i just got my FW760 LED 7inch monitor and i am blown by its quality for only 179,- Euro! Really!
Ok, it may sound and look stupid, but do you have any suggestions to mount it on a FS7 - i also have an mini axis from Zacuto - as a "viewfinder" on the side? Not for the everyday shooting, but for some kind of shoulder/handheld shots it could be helpful. I tried some stuff but with all the rigs it looks ridiculous... the easiest way is on top of the handle with the shoe. But on the side?

One method:

Pico clamp and Israeli arm. Pico clamp mounted to front of top handle or rear of top handle, but not impeding on handgrip.

Another method is to use an Israeli arm mounted to a cheese plate like this one:

Do yourself a HUGE favor and sell / return this monitor quickly. I owned it for 2 hours and returned it. It has severe low bit banding in gradients, it also does not accept 4K DCI (only UHD) and does not have an HDMI pass through. The button clicks are EXTREMELY loud, it is impossible to change settings without interruption. My quest for a cheap / near-disposable monitor continued. I got a Bestview 7S instead. It's night and day - zero banding anywhere, it accepts 4K DCI and has HDMI passthrough. It costs only few bucks more. They claim 10 bit image processing and while I'm skeptical about it, they must be doing something right because the image is really excellent. As with most on camera LCD monitors, I would never use it as any kind of reference for exposure or color but it is great for framing and focus evaluations. I highly recommend it.
