Is there a 1/4 Twenty thread on top of the 7Q so that you can flip the monitor and mount from the top (rather than from the sides) There is a black lid (seems like a lid) in between the SSD slots. Can this be pulled off to reveal 1/4 20 threading? If so how.
No that is wireless communication port of some sort. Which wont be used ever, BUT there is NOTHING of use under there. So don't go destroying or taking apart your unit! Jus those three 1/4 #20 screw slots.
Of course, it all depends on what you really need out of "upside-down". If you want to flip the image over, go to the OLED menu and tap on the orientation button. There's an inclinometer in the Odyssey and the default setting is auto-flip, so if you turn your Odyssey connectors up the image will reorient itself on the OLED (nothing else is effected). You can also choose to lock it upright or lock it flipped. Perhaps locking it flipped and then using the 1/4"x20 socket in the back, which is now near the top, will work for your needs.
