Hi guys!
I've got a Sony A7s camera with a E-mount to EF Speed Booster. I would like to mount an old Angenieux zoom lens to my set up. Most of the lenses I've been looking for come with either ARRI Bayonet-mount or C-mount. I found a EF to C-mount adapter: http://www.amazon.com/Fotodiox-Lens-Mount-Adapter-C-Mount/dp/B003EAY5S6, but I'm not sure if it will work.
I read some others threads about the topic, they were a few years old and before 'the time of the speed booster'. One user mentioned that there is no way to mount a ARRI Bayonet lens to Canon EF. But, he also mentioned that there is a ARRI Bayonet to PL-adapter, that might work if you screw that onto a PL to EF-adapter... Do you think it'll work?
Sony A7s > E-mount to EF Speed Booster > EF to C-mount adapter > C-mount Lens or...
Sony A7s > E-mount to EF Speed Booster > EF to PL adapter > PL to ARRI Bayonet > ARRI Bayonet Lens?
Feels like the second option would mess up the focal flange, thought the first one might work. What's your take on this?
Is there a way to figure this out using math?:undecided
Replies would be greatly appreciated!
