[FS: General] MOTU 1296 Audio Interface w/PCI-324 card

The MOTU 1296 is the professional 96kHz audio interface you have been waiting for. Equipped with the latest generation 24-bit, enhanced multi-bit 128x oversampling 96kHz converters, the 1296 achieves a remarkable A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of 117 dB with balanced XLR connectors throughout. Ideal for surround applications, the 1296's 12 inputs and 12 outputs can support two simultaneous 5.1 mixes. And the 1296 is full of advanced features, like AES/EBU I/O with sample rate conversion both in and out.

Do you currently own a 2408 or other MOTU system? Your PCI-324 card is 96kHz ready. Just connect the 1296 expansion interface, install the new PCI-324 driver and you're ready to record 96kHz audio.

Okay, this is out of my studio. I don't use it, because I don't need that many Inputs and Outputs for what I do now. I use the MOTU 828 MkII now. Notice, I kept with the MOTU brand, it's solid equipment. The above quote is from the MOTU site. And I can attest to the flexibility and power of this interface. I used to run 12 inputs and output a 5.1 mix from my edit/mixing desk with this.

So for someone, this will be a steal.

I am asking 750.00 for it. Or I WILL consider trades for location audio gear: field recorders, wireless lav/receiver combos, Shotgun mics, Blimps with suspension, field mixers (Shure FP33, SD, etc.). Unfortunately, if you are not an established member on DVXUser, I will be very hesitant in doing business with you, unless in person.
