According to IMDb this film was shot via an HDR-FX1. Personally, I think the lighting and camera angles take away from the video look it puts out. I bet if these guys did some 24P tweaking in post they could seriously set the standerds for this camera. I was really happy to see footage since it really inspired me to go out and shoot something with my FX1.

Great job filmmakers!

Looks like they did a very good job, I'd definitely rent that DVD! I also like the story idea, reminds me of the anime movie "Ogre Slayer", well, at least a story from the second movie that is. The devil costume isn't all that scary, but it's scary just because he's a big guy and we all know that:

scary demon + ginormous muscle mass = pooped'em!

Good find. Should be very inspiring to all FX1 users and HDV users in general.
 
This footage looks pretty nice, the story looks pretty dumb but the footage pretty nice. It'd look way better if they had conformed it to 24p in post.
 
pretty slick idea. I think it looks alittle video-ish. Maybe a result of the lighting? Didn't seem to cinematic to me though. :/
 
It looked like they put a ton in to production value but not acting or writing, what I mean is the makeup and fx look pretty good just a poor utilization of materials
