Motion Blur

In Final Cut Express I want to use the motion blur for a scene. The clip I want to apply it with has also been time remapped using a plug-in i found for free that emulates the time remapping system in Final Cut Pro. The problem is, I will time remap, do all those adjustments then render it. Then i want to apply the motion blur and when i do the clip towards the end makes a still frame and doesn't finish itself. The length doesn't change but it just stops at a frame towards the end. Any ideas. It's very likely that it's because it's a free plug-in and is likely buggy.

Have you tried putting the motion blur before the time remap in the plug-in chain?

Yes. I actually just started doing that. The problem now is this.

I can get the desired effect, but when you use time remapping it doesn't change the clip length, it tacks on a still frame at the end and keeps the length the same. I like keeping the timeline as organized as possible so i would very much like to cut the clip where the still frame starts and make sure the other clips are lined up with that clip. When I cut it, it screws up the entire clip and pushes back where the still frame starts.

i hope i explained that clearly enough, it's really weird. So the only thing I can do is leave the excess still frame of the clip and put the next clip over that so you don't see it. The thing is I will end up with 12 video tracks on top of each other...
