Motion Blur in Time Lapse?

How would I create the motion blur when doing time lapse video? Is this done in post or is it done during production with the camera? Using a dvx100 (old school) Edit in Avid XPro


I just realized that this is in the HVX section. I meant for it to go in the DVX tech section. Can a moderator move it? Thanks
