Motion 3 does it support Multi-processors

Support yes- make much use of no. The GPU i.e. graphics card is what make Motion most powerful.

Buy the most powerful GPU you can afford, particular one optimized for CoreImage/FXPlug for Motion.

Processors help a little, but as Noah states, it is mostly GPU based

So is it the cards or the processors? What I took from that was the GeForce isn't all that great. But basically this is saying that the processor detrmines how well Motion runs not the graphics cards?

conclusion from those tests show the drivers on the more expenisve video cards arent actually going evolved and the upgraded nvidia cards are slower than the stock card in the Mac Pro 3,1 systems when it comes to motion.

So basically I can use other graphics cards, even buy them at newegg? As long as I stay within the specs of the type?

I guess I'll start searching for CoreImage/FX Plug in terms of finding a card? Or can you recomend some?

You have to make certain that the card you purchase is compatible with your Mac system.
