Spielberg, hmm...thats silly. people may not like some of his latest work. but you cant disregard/take away the FACT that he has made some of the most entertaining/memorable/influential films EVER! he will never be overrated. he IS highest rated for a reason.

...yeah, Speilberg sucks. If only one of his movies could actually transport you to another world for two hours and impact you in a way you'd never forget as a child.

Don't forget Poltergeist. He supposedly didn't direct it, but I'm not so sure.

Not sure if we talk about the same movie, but I remember seeing The Last Unicorn about 25 (?) years ago. Don't recall the story, but remember I was blown away by the animation.

??? I don't want to make absolute statements, but it's one of the best war movies I have seen, IMO (even though there is very little war stuff in it). I think the Holocaust issue is extremely difficult to work with articistically, and I think Spielberg did a great job here.
I don't know about other people, but I had goose bumps and shivers running down my spine half of the film. Maybe it's because I know a few people who survived concentration camps, and I've visited some Holocaust museums in Europe, and some of my own family spent time in labour camps (although not Nazi but the Communist style).
Think what you want of Spielberg, but this is one great movie - except maybe for the last scene where Schindler is leaving the factory - that is a little overdone.

Someone forgot to mention LADYKILLERS as Tom Hank's different roll also. I can't agree with him being 50/50. I think Tom Cruise is an excellent actor also. Vanilla Sky is in my top three. Who do you guy's think the BIGGEST (I'm talking world wide) actors are? Like who is the most famous? I would say:
T Cruise
A Schwartzenegger
B Pitt
