Most neutral format to export a7sII footage?

I'm trying to figure out the best format to use when exporting footage from my a7sII. Basically, I want something that retains as much detail as possible (preferably lossless) and doesn't affect the look of the image (by, for example, switching to some strange color space), but at the same time, I don't want unnecessarily large files. I also want something that easily can be read in the future.

I've been experimenting with different options in Davinci Resolve 12. Exporting in ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 LT all gives me larger files than my source material, so it feels a bit excessive. Now, I've started to look at the "ProRes 422 Proxy" and "uncompressed" options, but I'm still a bit unsure what I should go for here.

What exactly is it you are trying to achieve?

Are you exporting a finished, edited video or just transcoding for archiving?
