Most "filmic" piece shot with FS700?

Hello everyone!
I am considering FS700 but it's quite hard to find some quality pieces shot with it. Most of the footage online contains A LOT of slow motion, is very often poorly graded (or not graded at all- just using some contrasty profiles) which I feel all together doesn't give justice what this camera is capable of when it comes to gracing big screen.
Can you post most "filmic", beautiful shorts/trailers that were created using FS700 in this thread?
Preferably ones that were shot only internally.

(there is similar thread but "best video" doesn't necessarily have to be most filmic, resembling feature film).

Thanks!

My buddy created this. Shot on AVCHD with the FS700. Not a lot of slomo, lots of rich images:

EDIT: I realized the end of your message, you clarified that you mean "filmic" in the narrative "movie-like" sense. Not image-quality, necessarily (which spans genres and styles, IMO). So the video I posted maybe isn't the best example.

This is an impressive piece particularly when you consider it was shot with stock FS700, Cine 4. There was no mention of whether external capture was used or what glass fronted the camera...

there are a lot of brilliant samples in this thread.

I don't mind slomo, it's a key feature of the camera

also some awesome reels

music videos

random selection above but here's my favorite piece

I could ask him, I know he typically doesn't use an external recorder, just the SD and FMU. He has some pictures here, where you can see the Nikon 17-55, Tokina 11-16, and Nikon 80-200. I know he's also got the Nikon 24-70, not sure if he used it on this trip.

Depends on what you mean by 'filmic' - as that can mean a hell of a lot of different things. Here's a bunch of things I shot, I don't know if you'd call them 'filmic', there some pretty varied visual styles there.

I shot this feature a few months ago on SD cards. Not sure if it is "filmic" compared to actual film, but it's been entered in 12 film festivals and of those has been a selection in 10 and won "Best feature" and "Best Director" in two. I've seen it projected on a 40 foot screen in a theater and it definitely holds up, despite being shot in camera.

Here is a good one.
This is a test as to how filmic I could make the footage look when recording internally.

Clip from the Valley

The scene was recorded in a basement, all lighting was all controlled. Light coming through door is not actual daylight. It's from a Arri 575 HMI par bouncing off the white stairway.
the Key light and fill light for the girl was from two dimmed down kino flo 400 diva lights.
behind the computer is a mole richardson tweenie, computer light is a cheep led light with some green gel.
All shot on Fs700 with Rokinon Cine Glass

Here is some location scouting clips for a feature, all shot with available light.

Heli shots are from a Phantom 2 with GoPro
Shot of the moon was with the FS700 through a telescope with t-mount to nex mount adapter.

One more for fun

I don't know about "most filmic," but this video has a different look over some of the things being posted. It's a music video we shot a year ago on the FS700 internally. It's an homage to Harold and Maude, a '70s film.

Hey Alohype,

I just PM'd you a link for a commercial spot I shot on the FS7Q combo. So check your messages. Can't post publicly on DVX until September.

I feel like this is as filmic as any camera out (Alexa, RED, Canon, etc...), and it really did not take that much extra effort as S-Log 2 by nature becomes very filmic looking with minimal grading. It was shot with a mix of 24fps and 60fps, utilizing 4K macros resized in an HD 2.35. Also, a bit of footage was shot with my old Bealieu Super 8mm.

FS7Q is the best combo for the price right now and yes... Very "Filmic" looking, at least IMO. Because of a strong codec and S-Log, It blows doors on any camera in its price range or below (C300, BMD, GH4, etc..)

I can't post the link on DVX until September, but feel free to share your thoughts on the spot.

I shot a short-film for the RODE competition on the fs700/7q combo and graded it for what i think to be a "filmic" look. I was extremely happy with what I could do with the image.

Something else I shot on the fs700 just last weekend where I went for a more natural color-grade... really saturated and lively to fit the mood.

There's no question about that the 7Q turns the FS700 into a very capable beast. However it's a very expensive thing (add codec and a couple of drives and you're getting closer to €4000). I guess that's why the OP mainly was looking for examples using the internal recording.
Here's a music video I made, even though it's nature makes it not comparable to a feature film, it was shot internally, and maybe you find it to some use in making your decision.
