hey guys sorry for the long no reply. here is the update.
He has still not edited the wedding, I guess when your not getting paid there isn't much rush. heck it took me a year to edit mine and it was 2 cams!
good news first, it was beautiful and the HD footage looks great. (like everyone expects from an hvx) bad news is everyone in the audience complained that the jib was a distraction so the groom decided to scratch the idea at the last second. and last but not least the worst news is. the heli was only for them to leave in not to shoot out of. The piolet was going to charge extra to have me shoot from it also. ARG!!!!!!!!!! so to say the least not quite as epic but I tell you what the "Groom cam" was an awesome idea and got some great shots from that. and obviously from the 2 steadicams. I will still stry to get some screen shots. I talked to him today and he said he has started.
By the way I got to take a moment and tell everyone how excited I am I got a job as a full time Steadicam OP on Spike TV for the Powerblock shows, Trucks, extreme 4x4, horsepower tv, and muscle cars!!!! i'm so excited, I start next tusday! who knew I wouldn't have to freelace to be a steadicam op. anywho that is all. http://www.powerblocktv.com:2vrolijk_08:
