Hi folks,

I did a lot of tests with firmware hack and the 1080p24 mode and it's amazing! Now I was very interested how the 720p60 footage would hold up in slowmotion, especially with quite heavy colour grading:

I used Ptool 3.36, video buffer 50, 38/40/42 on the quality settings, native 24p, sandisk ultra class 10 card. Not a single error in 3 hours of shooting. I also tried nostalgic (everything -2), WB 5300K, and I think I'll use it more often, especially if you are going for a more desaturated look.

Native 24p patch should not affect 720/60p modes, but it's good to know there were no issues. Did you shoot for extended periods of time in 24p mode?

Yes, it does not affect 720p60 mode. The timelapses in the film above were actually shot in 1080p24 - I just let the cam record for ~5min. No problems.

Thank you. Yes, I tried to get filmlike colors, which works quite well with the "nostalgic" settihngs.

Haha, yeah thats funny. I saw this pimp mobile a couple of times that day. It seems that young russians rent it to go to parties ....

Especially for you David, the "pimp mobile". I didn't use this shot in the film, but upon request everything is possible ;-)
