I just finished my latest film shot on the Blackmagic 2.5k and 4k.

Didn't love it, sorry. Several items that stood out to me:
-Opening. Why is the focus pull jumpy? It steps into focus, chunk by chunk.
-Framing. The medium-close shots look like they're framed for 4:3, and the screen beyond the shoulder is wasted space.
-Setting. Brutally static. No extras, minimal/cheesy sound design, and a harsh, unnatural bounce light on the table. Combined with the all the locked-down shots, it gets tedious.
-Close-ups. At times his ear is in focus and his eyes aren't (7:38), and her CU is weirdly jittery, almost like in-camera stabilization was working during a tripod shot.
-Payoff. Probably because I wasn't already hooked, the walking toward the light was an eye-roll moment.
