More Wet/dry lube tape questions. Switching OK

I've only run 1 and 1/2 Panasonic dry lube tapes through my new DVX.
Can I switch to wet lube now or will the measly amount of dry lube tape already ran through cause clogged head problems.

In case your wondering why I want to switch, it's because all my other gear has always used the Sony brand (wet lube) tapes. I started using the Panasonic tapes because everyone here says they're so good but after thinking about it I realize I can't use any of my other gear or any of the dozens of Sony tapes I've already got.

Run a cleaning tape thru it, then stick with one type. The lubes can combine and form a hard-shell shellac on your heads, so even a few minutes of run time can leave enough residue for the shellac to form.
