More than 100 years old COLOR footage discovered in museum

Actually looks like prior art for technicolor. This is four strip, looks like it was intended to be CMYK (additive color), where the three strip technicolor process developed 20+ years later was RGB (subtractive color). Too bad the inventor couldn't make a projector that worked. Might have changed cine history if he had.

Ted:
Thank you so much for finding this and sharing it with us. Truly inspiring story. Would never have seen it without your help. Amazing to imagine this happening in the infancy on the medium and lying dormant for 100 years. And it's sad to think that there's little chance that a similar lost digital invention will ever endure a century before being redisovered. Ashes to ashes, bytes to dust.

Your welcome,
Whats also worth noting are the persons restoring this, as seen on the doc, are already in their twilight years,
soon the art of threading celluloid film, customizing a film gate, and other analog craft will be gone if no effort is made to train younger people.
