Below are some more stills from the past three days during the shooting of "University Heights."

Also, just a note, both of our last two feature films, "lost/found" and "For Always" were just selected for the Cedar Rapids Independent Film Festival.  Nothing too fancy, but it's a nice regional event that has been going on for the past four years.  Our short film, "Yearbook," won Best Student Film in February 2002 at the festival.  You can check out the website at: http://www.crifilms.com.

I am actually the DP/Director/Writer/Editor/Producer/etc.  You know how that goes, right?

I'm a 19 year old college student and don't know too many DPs around here in Iowa, though in the future I hope to hire one so I can concentrate most of my effort on the actors and performances.

I do have a guy, Jon Van Allen, that has been on the set 4 of the 7 days so far that has helped out with lighting and he has been a tremendous help.  The stills below were taken from the days he was gone, so it was sort of tough moving from ARRI/Lowel kits to Smith Victor photofloods, but we did it (or so I think).

well you did a fantastic job.. the pools of light and contrast are excellent. Give yourslelf a cookie :)
