Mmmmmm.  Yummy.  Taste like chicken I am sure.

But why are they on a plate? With Scissors? ON a dirt floor? Why!?

The solo motorcycle grab is my fav too -- it looks like it's from another period.

Re: more stills from Vietnam

I think that camera shutter speed was set to 1/48 in most of the shots

Re: more stills from Vietnam

Great grabs!!!

John, welcome to the third world!!!

You may not see it in the first world, but in the third world, you do see a lot of this.

Plates on the floor with scissors, etc...

All the best

Fidel.

Re: more stills from Vietnam

before I went to Vietnam someone mention to me that Dogs is one of their food but I dint see or eat any (not the I know of)

Re: more stills from Vietnam

Phenomenal. Wow... I love the shot of the man midground walking towards the camera with the path disappearing into the fog behind him. The motorcycle's cool, but the path shot and the two faces at the beginning grab me the most.

What were you doing in Vietnam? Did you have other reasons or was it just for the sake of filming?

Re: more stills from Vietnam

It was a 10 days trip for Ethnomusicology purpose, my mission was to document the music the people and the culture.
My gear was the dvx100, 20 minidv tapes, 3 batteries, tripod, nikon digital camera, cd player for the 30h trip (one way)
Everything works flawlessly
even with high humidity
