thank you O7Q for making this little camera so lightweight now and easy to get 50 FPS

Time for me to spend more time learning composition and lighting instead of chasing the next best camera etc. The best camera is already there - it's there for relatively cheap - on ebay waiting for you or being sold even on this board.

What sort of glass do you have on here? It looks very soft to me especially towards the outside of frame? Something vintage on there?

more from today - https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zhee8up8rtbx3l2/AABU9d-uAcIMEUIolP6QwLbHa?dl=0

rig is on steadicam vidpro and on sticks.

just camera, top handle, 2 noga arms and a v mount plate on the back where the Interface box is.

weighs very little.

super happy with this setup. Thank you Odyssey 7q for tweaking it all for us 8 f35 owners.

lenses are mostly ultraprimes - 16mm, 40,85
using filmconvert fujifilm as a baselut then just tweaking away - big thing with filmconvert is getting rid of the magenta highlights - i do an offset in resolve for this.

i do dual link out from the f35 infterface box with 50p as the setting and into odyssey 7q and it grabs it

then take the pro res hq file and in cinematools mark it as a 23.98 fps and that's it.

i make sure i shoot at a shutter like 144 degrees not 180 degrees and that' about it

when you shoot in 50p, you get dynamic range at max 100 IRE vs on the odyssey what looks like up to 105 IRE in normal 23.98 FPS mode - so beware of that

i also shoot with sharpness at -89 and crispness at +8 - gives me a sharpness i enjoy

shoot at slog gamma and DCIM picture profile - i like the skin tones out of DCIM right away - less green than in s gamut mode.

loving the camera so much.
the director loves it too!
