I posted below about problems importing files shot on my HMC150 from the SDHC card. I'm posting a new message because I now believe the problem is not operator error, as I first thought, but the card.
And the card is a Panasonic card.
In fact, it's the free card I got as a promo for purchasing the camera a few months ago. It's a 16 GB Panasonic Class 10. Sometimes the record and transfer process goes fine. Sometimes the files seem not to be there. And on one occasion or two the camera itself gives a message that the card is incompatible.
I seem to recall someone else on this forum having a similar problem with a similar card (I say "similar" because my memory is that it was a free Panasonic card but an 8 GB one). Has this happened to others? Has any one been able to get it resolved?
The only fix that occurs to me is a firmware update on the camera. I checked that a few weeks ago and I had the latest update. Has there been anything since then?
TIA for any help - I sure hate to be using a card just hoping the scenes will be there.

I too had problems with the 16gb class 10 card that came with my second HMC-150. Called Panasonic and gave them serial number off card.... they had me send it to them and they replaced it with a new card. The problem was it would say card not compatable and would not format in either camera. Used it one time after formating it and they was it. All 5 other cards i have are panasonic 16gb class 8. Never had an issue. But panasonic restored my faith and sent a new one. Emailed them thru website.

Did you make sure you formated it on your camera and not on your computer? That seems to be important. I always format mine on my camera the same day as the shoot. But it's not to say that your card couldn't be bad.

Yes, I'm aware of that injunction, and formatted the card in the camera.
