Ok, decided to throw this out there as well...
So I had been in talks with this recording artist, Justin Kyle Hasty about doing a music video and EPK (Electronic Press Kit) for him. I called him one day and he mentioned he had interest from a very large managment firm (Justin despite not having a record deal, and producing his album himself has a top 40 hit over in Australia) and they wanted video of him to look at. I asked why he hadn't called me sooner, and he said he simply couldn't afford me, but that he had some live footage he was going to send.
I offered some advice, cutting in tracks from the CD and performance and prmotional stills and he responded, "Our program can't do that." I didn't want him to waste an opportunity, so I offered my services for very little.
The deadline was tight, we shot the whole EPK in the course of two hours and I had it cut and on DVD to him less then 24 hours later. What is here is just a quick clip. Bassically I shot him a fake music video. We put it at the start of the EPK as if it were a clip from a full video, but this is all we shot. Really this video portion was shot in an hour. The location is his parents farm, makes for a great backyard.
Anyway here it be.. enjoy.
