Would you add anything to this lens kit (besides ultrawide, which I am working on)? All are Nikons.

AF 24mm/2.8D
MF 28mm/3.5 PC
MF 35mm/2 Ais
AF 50mm/1.8D
AF 105mm/2 DC
MF 400mm/3.5 Ais

Not much difference between 24mm, 28mm and 35mm though. On a crop sensor, I would probably opt for dropping the 28mm and keeping the other two, or the 24mm only.

I was about to sell the the 28mm/3.5 PC, but decided to keep it because it is by its nature declicked. You can turn the aperture ring at any time, with no clicking and use fractional f-stops, and immediately see the results. Is that of any value while shooting video?

Yes, it's very handy for video . . . . I'd keep that and drop the other two.

have you tried the shift function for video? i imagine it can produce some seriously fracked up results when there's movement. if you do decide to sell the lens i'm interested. i've only tried huge bellows pc setups before, never one of those little slr things. looks like fun. is it the ai, ais or what?

I definitely shot with the PC lens when I had the D90, but I don't think I ever shifted. I will try it when the D7000 arrives.
