I tough i'd share this clip i made with my hvx200. I just did some basic cutting and the music, no color correction. I hope a few of you guys will enjoy it. Its on vimeo. Thanks in advance to everyone who takes the time to watch it.

Ha ! les voyages !! I was in Asia 2 years ago and then N-Z & Australia. Asia was really my "coup de coeur", there is so much subjects and like you said a feast for the eyes almost everywhere. The people are very nice and friendly and the camera just love them.

Lucky you are to have the HVX, I only had the DVX in that time, nice for the slowmo.

p.s.: Profites en bien, c'est pas tout les jours qu'on a la chance de voyager dans ces contrées. Lucky you are.

Thanks for taking the time to look up my video Shadow. My girlf and future wife is indonesian so thats why i get to spend much time there. Do you have any of your videos from asia online? I'd be interested in seeing that.
Also if you ever have a job or project were you need a second hvx i definitly would be interested in collaboration. Did you ever enter any of the dvx users contests?

Hey, Pierre. My wife is Indonesian. I just came back last month from a six week stay there. Spent some time in Bandung as well.

The mountains around Bandung outside of the city have some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever laid eyes on.

Definitely lots of eye candy. Of the good and bad varieties... But, it's all good for the camera :)

Nice video. Last shot was great.

Take care,
Jason

@jason. West-java is quiet amazing especially down south by the coast. On my last trip i bought a second hand dirt bike and traveled around 800km on the backroads. Got some nice shots. Unluckyly i was using this very2 old laptop and some of the footage ended with lots of blockings and artifacts. Some kind of hard data corruption or something. I'm sorting it out will post the end result.
Did you bring back any footage from your trip?

@Spartacus I did carry a tripod. I got a manfrotto 503 head with 055prob legs. I like it because when i open the head it fits nicely in my luggage. I have a shoulder strap for the tripod so i'm mobile. I also put a rain slick on the cam, it seems to attract less attention and it keeps the dust away.

real nice, Indonesia has started to get the cinematographers buzz, as in, ive seen alot of people go to that country lately for there projects.

@loselectro I leaved the pc lap top for the train video. I need to get a new laptop. I used a old second hand p3 ibm....i got lots of ruined footage because of strange hard disk errors.

@btnhcleon A lot is happening in indonesia cinema wise. They make very good movies. It seems to be getting better and better, especially in the last years.
Lots of subjects for documentaries as well.
