I couldn't find that old thread so I hope these aren’t all old.
Name the MXF files
It could work just like how Avid does it. You could put in that your cam1 and then the HVX would make the .MXF files as Cam1(random characters).mxf this would lead to less worry about multiple cameras shooting the same filename. witch has happened to me more than it should. this would also help editors so they could spend less time looking for footage and more time Editing.
USB Keyboard input
On commercials and features sets Scripty would love this. Just like how on set a sound guy with his Hard Drive recorder can label the scene and take. you could have scripty type in the Scene and take and other script notes. Scripty is already looking at monitor so they would just need a keyboard, it could even be wireless.
SD Card Full frame stills
Especially on Commercials where working off storyboards. Having an option to save the Icon data but full size and give it to clients on SD card would be great. I thought there was an Add on Card for the "large p2 camera" that does this?
Less then -7 Croma....
there is so many times I could have gone less de-saturated.
