Last night there was a beautiful Moonrise. Unfortunately you can't see any details of the Moon (I suck!), but the clouds are nice ???

Great stuff. The grabs rule and the timelapse was great. I loved the clouds.

Aaron, Tmon, HorseFilms: Thanks for the compliment.

Mino: Thanks, but I am not sure of the exact settings. I do remember it being set to F4, +9db gain, and I recorded for about 7:30 minutes, captured it, and then used Premiere Pro 1.5 Speed/Duration to drop it to 15 seconds.

Awesome grabs. Everyone is loving the monks falling asleep... and well, so am I. I was also pleasently surprised by the timelapse as well. Very cinematic.

Very beautiful grabs! Nice colors and contrast!

The timelapse clouds were great. Pity about the moon detail. Question here: What should he do to get the moon details? underexpose? If so wouldn´t he loose to much of the clouds detail? Any suggestions?

Thanks everyone! The monks definitely need more sleep. They typically wake-up at 5am and then walk around town (in persession) collecting food from citizens, so they can eat. "It takes a village to raise a, ...ah, ...a monk?" It's beautiful to witness and will try to get my butt out of bed to record it!

Daniel, I think you're right, my settings were wrong and the Moon was too hot, thus washing out all details. Next time no gain, maybe some ND, or maybe I'll try 24p (that filters out more light, right?)

Top stuff! I liked the first grab - had a golden quality to it. Did you use a preset from MB for that?

All the grabs, except for the flower, used Magic Bullets Looks - Basic Warm.
