I posted in freds thread, but there seems to be no interest here in the big MO for such a meeting to take place. Thats too bad. There are things we could achieve as a group, the one thing off the top of my head would be to have the local pana dealer come out with an HVX so that those of us still on the fence about buying one could take it out for a test drive, so to speak. There are other things that a DVXuser group could achieve, too many to list. Is there any interest here at all?

definitely, just not for HVX testing as i already own a beautiful new A1 :) Although it would do no harm giving it a test try, just no interest in purchasing.

Killer man, my drummer just got one as wel for his birthday so we got dual camera action going on!

yeah, that HVX looks like one killer camera. Just cant afford that right now.
but the A1 will do the job for the time being. Of course, it will do the job for a while to come, however i would prefer a firestore for this thing to record HD footage instead of unreliable tapes.

so how does this work, can we still be friends even though we shoot different cameras? lol

Well, I guess. Man this cam is really quite amasing, i'm shooting a concert tommorrow down in the old port, Patsy Gallant, Michele Pagliaro and others. Remember Patsy' famous song?
