To any interested DVXUsers,

I'd like to meetup sometime over then next few weeks in Monterey, CA. I'll be working With clients on a few projects, but would be delighted to sit down and chat.

I'm interested in all things HD cinematography, to lo-fi analog video art. And I can't forget about online distro & marketing.

In Monterey I'll be assembling underwater footage from Fiji, interviewing a lifelong collaborator to Jim Morrison, and participating in a marketing event. Among other things.

Any interested DVXUsers in the area?

Best,
Andrew Burke

Sounds like a fun long weekend.

I've been down to Carmel, Santa Cruz and Monterey a bunch of times. For years I've shot U/W video - although not lately. Lots of sharks, rays, dolphins, squid mating, kelp forests, etc. Sold a few things to Discovery and worked on several PBS Nature series.

Sadly I'm too far away but Point Lobos is awesome - someone in the area pls go!

: )
