I love the saturation of that house frame. Great title as well. Cant wait to see a finished product.

They look awesome.

I don't get it, is MB a film looks program or is it used to customize and give your film a "look" to it? Everybody I talk to says it doesn't make any sense to use it with the DVX.

They must not know what they're talking about then. It's more of a bunch of presets from what I've seen using it. Most of the looks you can achieve in say Final Cut, but Magic Bullet makes it easy and puts all the settings together in its own ways. They have a bunch of presets; like lets say you want the look from the matrix- they have a filtered look called NEO that you can use. I think they just say "film look" because movies like the matrix have a certain filter to them, which you can't get unless you add it in post.

Using MB to make your DVX look more filmic isn't neccasary but some people enjoy the color grading it offers. I'm starting to think eveyrthing I see with a Magic Bullet applied screams VIDEO TREATED WITH MAGIC BULLET

you do have a point mr. hudson. i think its just because every dvx user uses the same damn filter, because it does come with a shitload of presets, even though a third are useless unless you're high.

evertything is looking like MB since u can get the free dload for premiere with 8 presets heeh... so of course ppl will do that :D i have been guilty of using it :D

I usually wind up using a combination of different presets. It can come up with some interesting results.... Like hit the Max Contrast and add it twice.... Then on top of that try color reversal.... IN fact I would do Max Contrast at least once before applying any other of the looks. I like to have the richness first as I usually don't try to get it in camera. But you can experiment with MB and actually get some fresh looks.
