I'm doing a couple weddings and need some kind of stabilizer. I like the steady sticks because of the handheld flexibility and that it cost $100. Although alot of people here recommend monopods for event gigs. Please let me know what you think or your preference on a inexpensive solution. Thanks.

While not technically a stabilizer, I'm a huge fan of my multi rig, I could wear it for days. I'm not a big fan of my flowpod however, just too darned heavy for anything longer than a few minutes.

what kind of camera are you using? I dont know that much about the tiffen but it look like your arm would get tired with a heavy camera, with no shoulder mount. If you are tight on the budget I would just get the monopod. You will get some great steady shots and be able to be on the move and not in the way.
