Monopod or steady cam for wedding

hi all,
i am using a monopod to replace my future steady cam.
think that its good..especially for wedding...
dont know why ..most couple prefer the xl2.
i am going to convince...is the not the look that count..
but the substance in the camera...
most important the person behind the camera
wonder who use steady cam for wedding ?

I use a Varizoom Flowpod, which acts as a stabilizer and a monopod. Quite handy to have, as most of the wedding videos I shoot are more of a highlights clip than coverage of the ceremony. So for my purposes it works really well. Having both options right there is really nice. I think the Glidecam also has a monopod option, but I'm not too sure of that.
