Monochromatic Color Correction

I want to get a Monocrhomatic color correction look to some footage.

I applied the color effect and desaturated it.

I then applied a color correction to track 1.1, but it says I need to use "Step In."

Any help.

Many programs have a "Channel Mix" effect that lets you combine the R, G & B channels into one B&W image (Try it in Photoshop). Each channel is a greyscale representation of how much of the color will be present in the frame. When you mix them together, you get much more control over the final image.

there are little up and down arrows near the bottom left side if memory serves. One is to "step in" to an effect, ther other id to "step out" once your done. All stepping in really does is to jump you into a specific timeline for that clip the effect is on.
