GH4 Monitoring through HDMI when recording GH4 4K internally?

If I want to record internally 4K on the GH4 - will it send some normal HD signal through HDMI for external monitoring?

It would be catestrophic of panasonic to not allow external monitoring during 4K recording so I expect it will work just fine but can't say for sure as I haven't tried it. Any rig I have seen pictured with the GH4 has had an external monitor on it so I think its safe to say monitoring will be fine.

4K 8Bit 4:2:0 recorded to the internal card will allow 4k 8Bit 4:2:2 to the HDMI.

There is an option to auto down sample to 1080 (at the HDMI port) if the external device doesn't support 4K.

If you set up the camera to 10bit mode - you will be unable to record to the internal card.
